This historic tax credit renovation project which spans an entire city block consists of nine apartment buildings containing 215 units. Originally named the Cabanne Neighborhood, these buildings were built after World War I in the 1920s in a concerted effort to address congestion, blight and housing shortages in the city. HBD renovated both the interior and exterior of the apartment buildings and upgraded the components and systems to today’s standards. The project also involved the Missouri Housing Development Commission.
