Architect: Bauer & Associates Architects
Developer: Bank of Washington
Location: Washington, MO
Size: 31,500 square feet
Winner 2009 AGC Keystone Project of the Year Award, this project called for the addition of approximately 1,500 square feet to the lower level 1st and 2nd floors, with the addition of 30,000 square feet in two new levels, which would become the 4th and 5th floors. The bank features a new exterior envelope enclosing the existing lower level floors (basement, 1st and 2nd floors), using a completely new exterior masonry skin with a homogenous exterior appearance. That appearance kept with the tradition of downtown Washington by using stone and GFRC to replicate the historic brick and stone appearance.
